Judith Cassidy and Marvin Goldberg

Judith Cassidy and Marvin Goldberg

Owners

Judy and Marvin, along with Judy’s husband Dennis, began the monumental task of opening a personal care home in the summer of 1985. Dennis’ operational knowledge, along with Judy’s medical background and Marvin’s business acumen became the basis of what is now Walden III. The facility opened February 17th, 1987, and Judy and Marvin’s daily involvement have played key roles in our continuing success for over three decades now.

Samuel Cassidy

Samuel Cassidy

Administrator

Samuel Cassidy is the Administrator and General Manager of Walden III. Having spent the years following his education in skilled nursing facilities in New Jersey, he returned to the family business in 2010. Sam has a long history with Walden III, in the beginning he was learning to play bingo with the residents and skipping down the halls with his toys. During his school years he mowed the lawns, moved furniture, and performed general maintenance. Now, many years later, all of those lessons combined with his education and experience are utilized to continue to provide all of our residents and clients with the level of service and compassion that people have come to expect from Walden III over the last 32 years.

Jamie Cassidy

Jamie Cassidy

Jamie Cassidy is our Director of Nursing. Through over 15 years of practical experience, as well as having five generations of her own family involved in Walden III in one form or another, Jamie’s extensive knowledge of the medical and care needs of the elderly population ensure that all of our residents and clients are receiving the attention and treatment they need to have the best possible experience at Walden III.

Dennis Cassidy

Dennis Cassidy

Owner

Many years ago, Dennis’ dream was to be able to live his life and control his career in a way that was satisfying and rewarding. The culmination of that dream is Walden III. Many careful hours of planning, construction, laboring over operational procedures, and sweating the details resulted in the opening and continued successful operation of one of the few family owned and independent personal care facilities in the region. Dennis passed away in 2017.
